Popular Google Geekbench benchmarks have recently seen Google Pixel 3 XL and Xiaomi Mi 8 SE with Android Q on board, and now more Google devices are running on a previously unreleased platform called Google Coral, which is almost certainly coded as yet unreleased equipment. The mysterious device is also speculated to be Pixel 4, an early door, or a glimpse into the changing face of Chromebook.
The device codenamed Google Coral was benchmarked yesterday. It is powered by Android Q with a Snapdragon 855 chipset and 6GB of RAM. In addition to Android Q, Google Coral is based on the Geekbench database with the latest 7nm eight-core chip with 3,296 single-core and 9,235 multi-core, respectively.
The device is also speculated to be an upcoming Chromebook model that could arrive alongside the next iteration of the Pixel smartphones. As for the results, the 3296 single-core scores and 9235 multi-core score gives the device a significant edge over the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, which tend to score around 2300-2400 and 8300-8400 in the respective categories.

Meanwhile, Google tends to use Intel chips for its Chromebooks. A Snapdragon 855-based Chromebook now seems to be an odd proposal. However, Qualcomm has dedicated chips for laptop-style devices such as the Snapdragon 8CX announced alongside the Snapdragon 855.
The bigger assumption is that Google Coral might be a forthcoming Chromebook. However, there is no confirmation from the authority regarding this.
