Google Home is often requested to support G Suite calendars. And there have been massive changes recently where Google Home can actually read events from those which are shared on the G suite account.
There had been the availability of several calendars over a year on Google Home but there had also been gradual limitations. They didn’t support birthday or holiday calendars or shared calendars created by the G Suite account or the imported calendars.
There had been recent additions of Imported iCal and the URL calendars including the support of the G Suite -created calendars.
The tipster, Dave said that the first time he said “Good morning” to his Google Home, the device could read the events from the work calendar which is even shared from the G Suite account.
The experiments were done with the same on the Google Home Mini and the event was mentioned on the Android Police calendar which was not done previously.
When enquired about the events of the day, it also succeeded in reading it from the work calendar. It is also mentioned that probably the latter was used for the work but the former had indifferently stopped working after being checked. Therefore the time has come to update the list of unsupported calendars for Google.
There had also been the request to find out and test about whether there had been the work calendar which shared the G Suite account and mention about its workings.
