Want to buy your favorite app or preferred eBook from Google Play but don’t have a credit or debit card? Purchasing digital content in Google Play becomes easier as the company yesterday launched Google Play prepaid vouchers to be available in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata & Jaipur.
The voucher will be available in the selective stores of Vijay Sales and Spice Hotspot in these cities. You can redeem vouchers worth INR 500, INR 1000, and INR 1500 at these stores by simply paying the money in cash or another mode of payment accepted by the retail store. Once you pay the money, you will receive a redemption code that you can use to purchase digital content on Google Play.
With Google Play prepaid vouchers, users with their PC, Android phone, or tablet can buy apps, games, and e-books and rent or buy movies of their choice. You can instantly access all these options on your phone or tablet through Google Play- also, you can pin the content for offline use.
The prepaid vouchers were first introduced in the US back in 2012, and finally, the company is all set to roll out the service in India. With this new service, consumers using Android devices can shop for their favorite e-books, movies, apps, and games just by tapping at the Google Play store. Similarly, web users can access the same using Chromebooks, PCs, Macs, and all other computers online through the web version of Google Play.
In a blog, post-Google says the vouchers will be available in the stores in the coming weeks. If you have redemption codes, just visit Google Store to redeem your vouchers.
