Google has announced to launch of a new feature, “Reminders,” for Calendar users on the web will be rolled out in the coming two weeks. Reminders are already available in the Google Calendar app for iOS and Android, which the company launched in July last year.
Now don’t get late for your next meeting, thanks to all the new Reminder notifications for Google Calendar for the web. You can create a reminder by simply tapping on your preferred time in the calendar grid and then selecting “Reminder.”
Once your reminder is up to the time, it will show a notification that will continue till the next until you mark them done. Once your event is completed, you can disable the reminder notifications by simply clicking on ‘Mark as done’ on your reminder.
Reminders in the calendar are now available on all three platforms – Web, iOS, and Android and once you create a Reminder on the web, that will automatically be synced to your Google Calendar Android and iOS apps. Google Calendar also will show your event details are created in the Google app, Keep, and Inbox platform.
The new feature will be rolled globally starting from today and is private to the calendar owners even if you share it with your contacts.
