Last month Google Nest Mini smart speaker was announced as an upgrade to 2017’s Google Home Mini. The Nest Mini looks nearly identical to the Google Home Mini, except it comes with improved speakers and an included wall mount. It comes in four color variants: black, light gray, coral, and light blue.
Now Google plans to start selling Google Nest Mini in major online and brick-and-mortar retailers in Brazil. The news comes just after Amazon introduced Alexa virtual assistant to Brazilian customers, with three different gadgets available.
It is twice as strong as the original Google Home Mini. It has a more natural sound. If you’re listening to audio content, the speaker will light up when you place your hand close to the device for volume adjustment. It can also pair with other Nest speakers to create a larger sound system.
The Nest Mini also includes a third microphone that’ll help in noisy environments. It features a dedicated machine learning chip that allows Google Assistant features to run faster and on the device itself.
The Nest Mini device with Google Virtual Assistant is priced at $85 in Brazil.
