Anyone who uses Google Photos to store all kinds of images that are available on their smartphone, PC or tablet will find a barrier from now on. The cloud storage service program on Google Photos will no longer support some image and video formats as VOB and RAW media, as they are huge in size.

This change has already been valid since the December 6 of this month and any VOB and RAW media that were posted to the Google Photos cloud storage after it will take up device storage space.

Although Google Photos will still continue to support the following video formats: .mpg, .mod, .mmv, .tod, .wmv, .asf, .avi, .divx, .mov, .m4v, .3gp, .3g2, .mp4 , .m2t, .m2ts ,. mts and .mkv files.

If you upload videos that Google Photos can’t process, you should review them. You can download or delete your video if Google Photos can’t play it. If you delete a video, it will be deleted from Google Photos, but not from your device if you downloaded a copy.
