Google launched its latest Google Pixel 4a in India along with Nest Audio. The whole point of coming up with Pixel 4a was to introduce a rather affordable Pixel to the market. Google perhaps has done that by making the smartphone available at the introductory price of Rs. 29,999.
Among the three Pixel phones launched by Google recently, only the Pixel 4a will be available in India. The other two Pixel phones, the Pixel 4a 5G and the Pixel 5 will not be launched in India.
The Google Pixel 4a comes with a 5.8-inch Full HD OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone offers a refresh rate of 60Hz. Under the hood, the phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor with Adreno 618.
The back end of the smartphone houses a fingerprint scanner. The back also houses a single 12.2 MP camera, and the selfie camera is of 8 MP. The phone is powered by a 3140 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. The Pixel 4a comes in only one memory variant 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The phone is available only in one colour: Black.
Additionally, the Pixel 4a comes with features such as Recorder that connects with Google Docs to save and share transcriptions and recordings. Although as of now, this action could be performed only in English. Personal Safety app will come in handy for emergencies. The Live Caption option provides real-time captioning for video and audio content.
Google also launched the Nest Audio in India. The speakers are available at the introductory price of Rs. 6,999, but its original price is Rs. 7999. It is available in two colour options: Chalk and Charcoal.
Both the Pixel 4a and the Nest Audio will be available on Flipkart starting Friday, October 16. While the Pixel 4a will continue to be available on Flipkart, Nest Audio smart speaker will be available soon at retail outlets across the country at Reliance Retail and Tata Cliq.
