Google has recently updated its Play Movies and TV app with a dark theme. Basically, it’s not the theme but a background color of the user interface which is changing from white to black. This change is permanent there is no other option to go on previous settings. The changes were so silent lots of users could not even notice it. The new 3.22.14 version of the app can be download from the Google Play Store to experience the latest updates.
It is the only change which is spotted so far but it is quite good and making sense. When people watching movies, or watching shows on TV app they want dark background, so that they can watch cinema like a fashion. That’s why Google has changed their app to black colored background although, it has kept red as their themed color in category bar.
Yet it is not confirmed how long it might take to reach the update to all users. You can check whether the update is available from your Android Play store if it is already seeded for your device or else you have wait some more days. Google is focusing on the black color and trying to remove most of the red color from the app because the company is focusing on content rather than other things.
