Google Play Music is getting better with the new update. Now you can easily find the music you want at the right time. There is machine learning is implemented in Google Play Music to figure out what music you like and then mix in signals like location, activity as well as weather. It will be available to users in total of 62 countries this week to web users alongside Android and iOS users.
For providing better music recommendations, the company plugged into the contextual tools that power Google products. The Google Play Music is able to provide the personalized music for each and every situation either we are travelling or at gym or at work or anything else. More interestingly, according to Google, “Your workout music is front and center as you walk into the gym, a sunset soundtrack appears just as the sky goes pink, and tunes for focusing turn up at the library.”
This new Google Play Music has a brand-new home screen built just for you and you can have your favorite songs on top of the screen.

There are some other companies that have also introduced personalized playlists, which include Spotify and Apple. Spotify introduced a ‘Discover Weekly’ feature, which brought two hours of custom-made music recommendations, tailored specifically to each listener and delivered as a unique playlist. This year in September Apple also brought out a ‘For You section, which gives listeners recommendations based on their previous artist and genre choices.
