Google Shows Tweet Feeds in Its Search Results

It seems Google and Twitter became a bit closer. Google is now showing tweet feeds in its search results – you can see the most recent tweets of your search results with various hashtags and accounts on the Desktop as well as in the mobile version.

So now, when you’re searching on the Google app or any browser on your phone or tablet, you can find real-time content from Twitter right in your search results. Here is an example of how it works. If you are searching about NASA, Google will not only show its website, but recent tweets from its Twitter handle @NASA.

Former Twitter CEO Dick Costolo earlier hinted that Twitter would go on a partnership with Google on future integration – and the update was not false at all. Though Twitter has integrated mobile websites and apps since May, this is the first time the Twitter feeds are showing in desktop search results.

Search Result Google Tweets

This new feature makes your search experience much easier than before- if you would like to find trending things happening on the web, you can search by the hashtags, and you’ll get all the trending tweets in Google search results.

The feature is now available for mobile browsers and on the Google app for both iOS and Android devices globally.
