Google Trends covers various subjects by providing real-time news. Starting yesterday, Google opened more data for showing the recent trends of searches around the globe.
Now you can explore any topic in different ways while browsing. For example, if you are searching for Beyonce’s tracks, you will come across related videos that are topping the trends.
When you type her full name on the Google Trends search bar, you will be provided with suggestions that will take you to the worldwide search interest on Beyonce.
That’s not all, as you will get more options once you click on Web Search, which is at the right of All Categories. The options include searches on images, news, YouTube search, and even Google Shopping.
At the same time, it is important to note that users search differently for different platforms. For instance, if you have clicked on YouTube Search, it will lead you to Beyonce’s latest show or album release, whichever would be one of the global top trends. As for the Image Search, you will be directed towards her latest photos, maybe just out of a stage performance or an interview.
Google Trends will also offer results on regions where the interests of the users are strongest. You can find the list under the label ‘Interest by subregion”.
You can further explore the newly updated site of Google trends and find out how the entire world searches for a specific topic or person.
