Google, as we know, is the most popular search engine. If you have any query in your mind regarding anything – you just need to Google it. Recently, Google reports stated that at least one of those five searches is related to location. So, in order to make this process more convenient, Google says that now you don’t have to select your country location!
Yes, you all heard it right, now every time while you access that Google stuffs – it won’t ask your country location. As per the statement published by sources, the choice of country service will no longer be indicated by domain. Whereas, you’ll be served the country service that corresponds to your location by default.
If due to any circumstance, when the default location is not accessible, you can still go to settings and select the correct country service you want to receive. Typing the relevant ccTLD in your browser will no more bring you to the various country services. Instead, this can be managed directly in settings. You can view name of the countries service you are accessing at the bottom of the search results page.
This new update by Google will not bring much change to any of the apps related to Google. It will only change the way Google Search and Maps services are labeled, but it won’t be affecting the way these products work, nor will it change how we handle obligations under the national law. This update will only make sure that you get the most relevant results based on your location.
Google is dynamically bringing up the best to its stuff with time. We wish the company to keep up the good work. For more such updates – stay tuned with us.
