With the explosion of streaming services that are invariably available all over, it is becoming more difficult for viewers to figure out not just what movie or TV show has been watched or rather what to watch. Now Google adds a new feature name ‘Watchlist’ that lets users bookmark movies and TV shows quickly.
The feature is quite simple and changes the text to “Views”, while the ‘Watchlist’ creates storage. This is directly linked to the broader Google bookmark function than sets on Search, Maps and the Internet available on mobile devices via the web or the Google app for Android and iOS.
The new Google Watchlist feature is directly linked to bookmarking features across Search, Maps, and the web which initially began rolling out for Beta users.
The app prompted how you can “Look for the bookmark across Google to add what you like.” There’s also a “Start your search” shortcut or “Find more” FAB that slides up a panel of “Similar to what you’ve added” and other search terms.
The search list of Google Search for movies and TV is fairly simple and only an optimization of Collections which has been rolling out over the past few days and is right there for us. The new feature is presently available via the Google app for Android and iOS.
