Google has been working lately on attracting a customer base for a line of smart speakers that can match up to Amazon’s Echo Show and Lenovo’s Smart Display, featuring a mammoth-sized screen mounted on a smart speaker. The first look and specifications have somehow been leaked by sources and this super performer will be called Google Home Hub.

However, how much functional these speakers will be is yet to be seen. Though it might get the additional kicks of a Google Assistant, it will not have a full-fledged Operating System running across its 7 inches tablet-like screen as you find on phones and other Android-enabled Tablets. Thus it will just be enhancing the usability of the Assistant and nothing more.

The deadly combination of Voice control along with its LCD touchscreen should make the Google Home really smarter than most other products available in the market. This device like most other Google Home devices shall take standard voice commands and would be compatible with most smart devices in the market. The company claims partnerships with over 400 companies, providing smart assistance to over 500 compatible devices.

The 480g performer has in-built light and color sensors, support for a higher end of Bluetooth, and connectivity pairing to 2.4 and 5 GHz of Wifi meant for streaming at higher speeds. The rendering revealed how the Google Home Hub’s display shall show the time, weather, navigation, way of daily commuting via Google maps, among others. Available in Chalk White and Charcoal hues,t his shall also sport a full range speaker, serving the primary purpose with a mute toggle. Using Voice commands one can access security options like home cameras, lights, and appliances, among other things that can be paired with this device.

Google photos can also be accessed and seen in the Hub using Voice Commands itself and Live Albums shall belt out slideshows from existing photos in the library of Google.

The availability can be traced down to somewhat before the holidays, as the last month’s reports say. The sales may be leveled up to around 3 million units that might be made customer-ready in the first batch of production itself. Official announcements should be made around the first or second week of October(9th to be precise) and further details on the price and other specifications should be available only after the release.
