The upcoming superhero title Gotham Knights has been causing a buzz amongst fans of the superheroes of Gotham for a while now. Scheduled to be released in the last quarter of this year, the game has been in development by Rocksteady Studios who have announced a possible October release.
As players already are aware, the game has a co-op multiplayer mode where they can play with other users, but recent leaks have revealed that there might be an option for four players to play at once in a team. Past information has been only about two players, so this comes as a pleasant surprise for the fans.
According to the leak report, which was announced by a PlayStation user and Redditor called Suspicioustension19, the game’s PlayStation store page suggests that Gotham Knights will feature a co-op experience that supports up to four players, instead of two players as the developers had previously advertised.
However, the Warner Bros. Montreal page still maintains that users will be playing with only one other player. The PlayStation store description might just be a fluke, but players will simply have to wait for more official announcements from the developers.
Gotham Knights is scheduled to release on 25th October of this year, and features exciting stealth and action combat, with players being able to control and level up their characters in order to develop specific builds.
