A couple of GTA V map mods for Vice City Remastered and San Andreas were reportedly removed from popular site ‘GTA5-mods.’ Now that there has been a number of discussions around the GTA VI, it could mean that the long-awaited title will finally get launched in 2025. As is the case with any leading games before they officially get launched, there are a few rumors surrounding GTA VI too. There is one speculation that GTA VI will be ushering in a return to Vice City.
Another user online discovered that two popular GTA V mods for both Vice City and San Andreas were removed from the game’s official catalog. “A friend notified me of this, the two most popular map mods for GTAV, Vice City Remastered, and San Andreas, were taken down from gta5-mods.com. Both mods were up for years, so weird moves to happen now,” the user said.
The reason behind the suspected removal is not yet clear; however, there are people who are wondering if this exclusion is part of the game manufacturer’s larger move which is yet to be revealed. The users do not want to do away with these rumors especially with regards to the timing. There’s hope that Vice City will return, either in GTA VI or as its own remastered version.
If we do not take into consideration the imminent launch of the GTA VI, some people also believe that the removals are deliberate and that they are trying to signal remakes of acclaimed entries.
With GTA VI rumored to come in 2025, some players are hoping that Rockstar will finally be launched in-between this year and the launch of the GTA VI, with an official San Andreas or Vice City remake. The developers of the game are working on the GTA Online Summer Update.
