On Tuesday, that’s October 31; Google released the ‘Hangouts Meet hardware suite,’ consisting of advanced capabilities. The set includes a touch screen controller, a 4K camera, built-in microphone-enabled speakers, and an ASUS Chromebox. Google is set in its aim at speeding up its video conferencing services, with the entire hardware suite that costs $1999.99.

As for usefulness, the Chrome OS Chromebox lets users manage and deploy other hardware in the suite.

The touchscreen controller provides you with an intuitive touchscreen interface, which directly gets you to join a call with one click on the Calendar. Additionally, this gets you to view meeting details, control mute functions, and even the new joiners.

Next, the 4K camera is able enough to detect participants of the call, with a 120-degree perspective and the best view for the built-in machine learning technology.

As far as the speaker is concerned, the built-in 4-microphone content has its design and make by Google equipment. It has the ability to remove echo and background noise and provides a 7-pin space for a clear voice to pass.

For a larger conference space, as many as 5 microphone speakers can be deployed and connected. Google suggests that users to go for the Logitech PTZ Pro II camera for the best experience.

According to the search giant, the Hangouts Meet hardware suite takes hardly minutes to be configured to be connected to various floors or participants in various countries. Astonishingly, it even has the ability to diagnose problems and update all firmware accordingly – automatically. The credit goes to Google’s signature capabilities on remote device monitoring and management.

Back in March, Google split its Hangouts into Chat and Meet. While Hangouts Meet is a video conferencing service, Hangouts Chat remains a text-based platform, integrated into G Suite but still in the beta stage.

Well, Google seems to have done it again in coming up with an ideal solution package, this time for video conferencing among team members at the workplace! How do you like the hardware suite? Is your company going for it? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned for more updates.
