JBL Boombox speaker, produced by HARMAN International, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.’s wholly-owned subsidiary, has been launched in India today. The portable Bluetooth speaker, priced at Rs. 34,990, will be available on HARMAN’s eCommerce platform– www. Harman audio.in various online and retail channels and at 350 major Samsung brand stores across India.

The 20 inches long and 11 pounds speaker has been equipped with four active transducers and two bass radiators, accounting for top-notch sound and bass qualities. However, its massive frame does not take away from the speaker its portability. And being IPX7 waterproof, the speaker can be taken outdoors or near beaches and pools without worrying about water damage.
The Boombox can enliven any outdoor party by being able to connect to more than 100 JBL Connect+ enabled speakers within Bluetooth range. It also connects to up to 2 smartphones or tablets wirelessly to stream impressive stereo. The speaker has two sound modes, indoor and outdoor, with deeper bass and richer sound in indoor mode and expansive sound with strong bass and longer playtime in outdoor mode. The JBL Boombox comes with a 20,000 mAh battery that, apart from providing a battery life of up to 24 hours in a single charge, can be charged via dual USB port to allow the music to play while it’s charging. The device is available in black color.
