HMD Global announced on Wednesday that its latest iterations of feature phones Nokia 105 and Nokia 220 G are all set to go on sale sometime next month. Being the fourth generation phone, having started its journey in 2013, the latest Nokia 105 reboot shall feature Nokia Series 30+ Operating System running within a polycarbonate body. The Nokia 220 4G, for its part, is the first refresh since its original launch in 2014, with a prominent difference being its featuring of 4G support.

Coming to the nitty-gritty of the Nokia 105, its first model was launched in 2013, when it featured a  128X128 pixel resolution on a 1.45-inch TFT screen, and packed its power in an 800mAh battery acclaimed to have run for 35 days on a single charge when kept on standby. In 2015, a second version of the device was launched by Microsoft featuring the same Series 30+ OS, but with an increased storage capacity.

The Nokia 105 was first rebooted in 2017, with HMD Global releasing it with a fresh design among a few other tweaks. As for the latest (2019) version, the 105 will sport a 1.77-inch QQVGA (120×160 pixels) screen powered by a Series 30+ OS.

It has been equipped with a Micro-USB 1.1 port, 3.5mm audio jack, 2G connectivity, FM radio, 800mAh battery, and Mini-SIM slot (which may allow dual-SIM support in some markets). Priced at EUR 13 (roughly Rs. 1,000), the device will sport shades of Blue, Pink, and Black when it goes on sale this August.

As for the Nokia 220 4G, with a 4G support and 2G fallback, the device shall feature a 2.4-inch QQVGA (120×160 pixels) screen, that shall be powered by Feature OS. It has also been equipped with Micro-USB 2.0 port, Nano-SIM card slot (dual-SIM support in select markets), Bluetooth 4.2, rear VGA camera,  1200mAh battery, FM radio, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Priced at EUR 39 (roughly Rs. 3,000), the device will be available in shades of black and blue, starting Mid-August.
