HMD Global has reportedly announced the launch of the next Nokia smartphone on December 5. Though HMD Global has not specified which smartphone it is going to release, it is possible that the Nokia 8.2, the successor to the Nokia 8.1, will be the one as is being speculated by experts.
Nokia announced this through a Twitter post dated November 22:
The Nokia 8.2 is a much-awaited smartphone, especially because it features a 64MP Quad Camera module and a 32MP pop-up selfie camera, both of which are a first for Nokia smartphones.
The Nokia 8.2 will also come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor, storage of up to 8GB RAM accompanying a 256 built-in storage, and quite possibly 5G support.
Additionally, Nokia is also expected to release Nokia 2.3 and Nokia 5.2 budget smartphones whose specifications are already out on the web before their official launch.
Running on a MediaTek processor and Android Pie OS, the Nokia 2.3, successor to the Nokia 2.2, is said to be an entry-level phone featuring Bluetooth 5.0.
As for Nokia 5.2, the successor to Nokia 5.1 will come with features such as a 6.1-inch full HD display, up to 6GB RAM, 16MP rear camera in the circular module, Bluetooth 5.0 and 3920mAh battery.
