HMD Global trademarked a new smartphone named Nokia 8 Sirocco under the model number TA-1005. Apparently, it was reported that TA-1005 was to be the Nokia 9 but this trademark asserted that this device will not be the next flagship. As the Finnish Corporation HMD Global has secured the rights for Nokia 8 Sirocco, it is obvious that it is going to be launched soon in the market. The device is equipped with a frameless screen and a dual main camera which absolutely lures its customers.
According to certain dug-out information from sources, the Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphone will be different from the classical model with more improved technicalities. It is suspected to be more expensive and in a stylish package. The novelty is accredited with a frameless AMOLED screen with a ratio of 18:9 and a resolution of 2160 by 1080 pixels (FHD+). It is attributed with a top 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with a clock speed of 2.45 GHz, 4GB-6GB of RAM, a USB Type-C connector of the second generation along with a dual main camera with Carl Zeiss optics.
The Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphone is suspected to price not more than 40,000 rubles in Russia and Europe. The novelty, which is running on Android 8.1 Oreo will be officially presented during the exhibition Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018, which will be held in Barcelona from February 26 to March 1. The Nokia 8 Sirocco is reported to look extremely attractive to many of its competitors including Sony, Apple, Samsung LG, HTC, and also other manufacturers.
