HMD Global unveiled two new smartphones, Nokia 3.1 Plus and Nokia 8110 4G, today in India. The Made for India smartphone Nokia 3.1 Plus comes in an asymmetric architecture and a super compact design. The smartphone features 6-inch HD+ IPS – MediaTek Helio P22 – 2GB/3GB RAM + 16GB/32GB storage (microSD card support up to 400GB) .
Nokia 3.1 Plus has a massive 3500mAh battery with 2-day battery life. The camera includes a dual-camera with a 13MP (f/2)+5MP (f/2.4) rear camera with face detection and autofocus feature that clicks awesome photographs even in low-light conditions. The front camera features 8MP (f/2.2) to click studio-style bokeh effect pictures, which can be adjusted accordingly.
The device joins the Android One family with monthly security updates and more. Also, HMD has become the only manufacturer in the industry that will use Android Pie by the end of the year. It also is the smartphone that is Android Enterprise Recommended to be available in the market at a starting price of €159.
Another new smartphone that the Finnish company unveils today is the new Nokia 8110 4G. The newly ‘banana’ designed smartphone has a helicopter skin and is available in banana yellow and traditional black colors. Running on the Qualcomm 205 SoC mobile platform, the device is priced at INR. 5,999.
The iconic brand also partnered with one of the largest Indian mobile networks operators to provide easy access to apps such as Maps, Facebook and Youtube. Nokia 8110 4G offers 544GB of data and 4G services. It also offers unlimited access to Live TV, Jio Music, Movies, Jio Cinema with HD quality music and video of Jio apps, etc., along with the best data offerings for customers.
