Today, the grand launch of the Honor 300 series in the Chinese market, featuring three smartphones: the Honor 300, Honor 300 Pro, and Honor 300 Ultra.
The Honor 200 series was officially launched in May in the Chinese market. It featured two premium mid-range smartphones, the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro. The Honor 200 featured the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, whereas the Honor 200 Pro had the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. The phones featured a unique camera module design, and the camera hardware was quite impressive.
HONOR 300
Design and Build
The Honor 300 features a unique camera module with a dual-camera setup, a downgrade from the Honor 200’s triple-camera design. It has an IP65 rating, a slim profile at 6.97mm thick, and weighs 175g. The phone includes a flat frame and display, replacing the Honor 200’s quad-curved screen. It also supports stereo speakers and has an infrared blaster.

The device boasts a 6.7-inch flat 1.5K OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4000 nits peak brightness, 10-bit color depth, and 3840Hz PWM dimming. An optical under-display fingerprint scanner is also included.
Performance and Battery
Powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the Honor 300 maintains the same SoC as its predecessor. The battery capacity is increased to 5,300mAh, with 100W wired charging.
Camera
The rear camera setup features a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The 50MP front camera remains unchanged from the Honor 200.
Software
The Honor 300 runs MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15.
HONOR 300 PRO
Design
The Honor 300 Pro features a larger camera module with three rear cameras and a rounded frame. The display is curved on all sides, and a pill-shaped cutout on the front houses two sensors. It has an IP65 rating, an IR blaster, NFC, and stereo speakers. The device is 8.2mm thick and weighs 199g.
Performance
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, with the CPU clock speed capped at 3.0GHz (lower than the usual 3.3GHz). It comes with a 5,300mAh battery, supporting 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging (an improvement over the 66W wireless charging in the Honor 200 Pro).

The Honor 300 Pro has three rear cameras: a 50MP primary sensor (Sony IMX906, OIS), a 12MP ultrawide/macro sensor, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom (Sony IMX856, OIS). The 50MP front camera remains the same as the Honor 300.

It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K quad-curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4000 nits peak brightness, and 3840Hz PWM dimming.

The Honor 300 Ultra can be easily distinguished from the Honor 300 Pro by its square camera lens and red text on the camera module. It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K 10-bit 120Hz quad-curved OLED display, offering vibrant colors and smooth performance. The display is protected by Honor’s Rhino Glass.

The Honor 300 Ultra is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with a 3.0GHz clock speed, identical to the Honor 300 Pro. It also shares the same 5,300mAh battery, supporting 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. The device is IP65-rated and features stereo speakers.
Camera
A key difference is the Honor 300 Ultra’s rear camera setup, which includes a periscope telephoto camera with a 50MP Sony IMX858 sensor, offering OIS and 3.8x optical zoom. The other cameras are the same as those on the Honor 300 Pro.
