Honor India officially introduced its latest mid-range smartphone, the Honor 9 Lite, featuring dual camera setup on both front and rear panels. It also features a 5.65-inch display that’s smaller than the same of the recently released Honor 7x and Honor 9i.
Honor 9 Lite showcases a glass body, with the display screen offering Full HD+ and 2,160 x 1,080p resolution and the traditional 18:9 aspect ratio. It is empowered by the Hisilion Kirin 659 octa-core processor, incorporated with 3/4GB RAM and 32/64GB internal storage.
Now comes the highlight, the dual camera setup on both panels. The phone does feature four cameras, with both rear and front providing 13 MP+2 MP setups. The rear setup has the primary sensor of f/2.2 aperture, and the secondary sensor is equipped with depth sensing ability. As for the front, the primary sensor offers an f/2.0 aperture, and its secondary counterpart packs depth sensing for portrait mode, along with the background blur feature.
Honor 9 Lite is running the EMUI 8.0 that’s based on Android 8.0 Oreo, making the phone one of the first of the brand’s mid-range smartphones on the basis of packing Oreo. The company claims that the phone’s 3,000 mAh battery can offer 24-hours of usage.
The 3GB+32GB variant has a price tag of Rs. 10,999 and the 4GB+64GB model costs Rs. 14,999. Users can as well enjoy the launch offer of 10% instant cash back on the Citi Bank debit and credit cards. The device will be exclusively available on HiHonor and Flipkart. There are preliminary flash sales, scheduled for January 21 at 00:00 and 12:00, on January 22 at 12:00, and on January 23 at 12:00.
