For the past couple of years, Honor has been launching wearable devices, and now, the company has launched Honor Band 5 along with the smartphone Honor 9X.
The device has a resolution of 240 × 120, PPI is 282, using 0.95-inch and an AMOLED phantom screen. The most highlighting feature of the device is that it comes with health advice according to the body condition. The device is capable of performing a blood oxygen test that detects blood oxygen levels in a body at any time. If a human body has low levels, then it may cause fatigue and memory loss. Hence this device is highly suitable for high-intensity mental workers, senior people, and high-altitude hypoxia.
The device is capable of tracking fitness activities like swimming, cycling and many more. Honor Band 5 wearable is waterproof up to 50 meters and has Bluetooth connectivity and is compatible with devices running Android and iOS. Honor Band 5 has a standby battery life of 14 days. The device also has a real-time sleep monitoring detector along with respiratory quality and analysis of sleep structure.
The product is currently available on Chinese eCommerce platforms such as Vmall Mall, Jingdong, and Suning. The Honor Band 5 standard edition is available at 189 yuan (approx Rs. 1,894), and the NFC version is available at 219 yuan (approx Rs. 2,195).
