Honor Devie Co. Ltd commonly known as Honor is a China-based consumer electronics company owned and operated by Shenzhen Zhinxin New Information Technology Co. Ltd. It was formerly a subsidiary of Huawei, who sold the brand in November 2020. Honor develops smartphones, tablet computers, wearables, and mobile device software.
On December 23, 2024, Honor launched the Magic 7 RSR Porshe Design which is equipped with dynamic features and hardware capabilities. It is also equipped with a sporty appearance and a signature camera design. In terms of advancement, it is equipped with a 200MP periscope sensor.
The device is equipped with a Classic Porsche Design, 10x scratch and drop resistant, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, AI Eagle Eye Camera, 200MP ultra-sensitive periscope lens, and Two-way satellite features.
Design
The Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design is launched with a classic Porsche look. It features a unique symmetrical layout at the rear end. It also features a hexagonal camera bump. If we compare the previous models, it is similar to the previously launched gen model. The device comes in two colors namely Purple and Gray.
Dimension
The device measures 162.7 x 77.1 x 8.8mm and weighs 228 grams. It features a 6.8-inch micro-quad-curved screen with an FHD+ (1280 x 2800 pixels) resolution.
Display
In terms of display, the device supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 453 PPI, 5000 nits peak brightness, 4320Hz PWM zero-dimming, 1.07 billion colors, and a DCI-P3 wide color gamut.
Internal Configuration
The device equips the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor coupled with an Adreno 830 GPU. It pre-installs Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 and supports features like AI translation, Interactive Themes, AI documents, AI Notes, smart capsule, Magic lock screen, anti-fraud firewall, smart code recognition, and air sliding screen, to name a few.
Furthermore, the device features a 3D ultrasound fingerprint sensor and facial recognition. It therefore provides ultra-fast input and unlocking and offers a fully secure and reliable unlocking experience.

Rear Camera
The device is equipped with a 50MP wide-angle lens (1/1.3-inch) with photosensitive element, f/1.4-2.0 ultra-large smart variable aperture, LOFIC tech, ultra-low reflection, OIS, and focus. Another 50MP ultrawide-angle (f/2.0 aperture) camera supports a 122-degree viewing angle and 2.5cm HD macro photography. Last but not least, the device also has a 200MP ultra-clear periscope camera (1/1.4-inch ultra-large bottom) f/1.88 ultra-large aperture + 3x optical zoom + OIS + 100x digital zoom.
The Honor Magic 7 RSR has a triple-camera AI Eagle Eye system. Regardless of the lighting, its upgraded 200MP ultra-high definition periscope lens can effortlessly restore color and precise details of the object.
A 1G+5P floating periscope sensor with electromagnetic motors has been deployed by the Chinese tech behemoth. It is additionally paired with a 1200 laser array focusing technology to catch the amazing moments uninterrupted in one shot.
Front Camera
Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design uses a 50MP wide-angle front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It is paired with a 3D depth camera and offers impressive selfie portraits.
Battery Capability and other features
The Honor Magic 7 RSR has a 100W fast charger and a non-detachable 5850mAh battery. Additionally, it supports reverse wireless super fast charging and 80W wireless charging.
Two-way satellite communication (SMS + calling service), two Wi-Fi chips, a C2 communication chip, a YOYO virtual agent, smart private calls, and AI two-way noise reduction on calls are some of the device’s other capabilities.
Price
Honor Magic 7 RSR Porsche Design comes in two memory variants: 16GB + 512GB and 24GB + 1TB. The device has currently been launched only in China and the 16GB + 512GB model is sold for 7999 yuan and the 24GB + 1TB model is sold for 8999 yuan.
