Former Huawei-owned Honor has decided to venture through the perilous regions of the tech industry, alongside OPPO, Samsung, and Vivo; honor is also joining the foldable phone directory. Earlier today, the mobile maker Honor has officially disclosed that it is progressing on a flagship foldable smartphone tagged Honor Magic V.
An official teaser shared by the brand’s official handle in social media offers a partial view into the foldable phone swivel. The Twitter post says –
However, the official image hasn’t provided a comprehensive look on the foldable smartphone; we haven’t deciphered whether it’s a notebook hinge or a grapple fold outlook, the edges of Honor Magic V looks gleaming on the surface with a shining reflection on the floor, albeit company hasn’t decided to reveal any more details of the smartphone, recent leaks have tipped that Honor Magic V will be released in China on Jan 2022.
According to well-known digital blogger Digital Chat Station, Honor Magic V is likely to be the first foldable smartphone equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The yet-to-be-released foldable phone is teased about having a price sticker of CNY 10,000 (roughly Rs. 1.18 lakh).
Considering the previous statement from Honor suggests that the company has always been open about its future ventures as its CEO George Zhao said that he was interested in designing a foldable under the name of Honor. Unsurprisingly the firm had forecasted that foldable machine would cost way too much for the customer; given this statement, we could expect the unreleased Honor Magic V with a heavy price tag on its shoulders; way back in 2015, foldable smartphones seemed like a myth for the tech industry, few companies had taken up the challenge and pursued through the process However it didn’t come as expected until Samsung released it’s Galaxy Z Fold 3. It made a great debut around the globe. Moreover, the new Honor Magic V looks like Galaxy Z Fold 3 in some angles.
