Yesterday, Honor began its new products launch conference in China to announce the new system MagicOS 7.0 alongside the Honor 80 series and Magic V folding screen. Now, the mobile brand has officially announced the new Honor Magic Vs for ¥7,499.
HONOR Magic Vs Specs
The Honor Magic Vs has a light gearless hinge out of the box. Utilizing single-piece casting technology, this hinge was made. Consequently, from 92 to 4 supporting structure components were required in the hinge, reducing the number of components. The aerospace-grade materials-touting hinge is designed to survive more than 400,000 folds or 100 folds each day for more than ten years of use.
Additionally, the smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon Plus Gen 1 Chipset inside of it. For hardware-level security, it includes a Dual TEE Security System that was created in collaboration with Qualcomm. It boots MagicOS 7.0, an Android 12-based operating system with features that enhance productivity.
The foldable weighs roughly 261g and has a thickness of about 12.9mm. The second is a lighter version. The gadget boasts an inbuilt 7.9 foldable OLED display with a 2272 x 1984 pixel resolution and 381 PPI. The display can have a peak brightness of 800 nits and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. To enhance users’ gaming experience, the newly announced Honor Magic Vs is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and supports a maximum speed of 66W.
HONOR Magic Vs Camera
On the back of the device, there are three cameras. A 54MP Sony IMX800 primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor with autofocus for macro, and an 8MP camera with a 3x telephoto lens are all included in the configuration.
It also has an external display, a 16MP front-facing camera, and no front-facing camera for the internal display.
