Smartphone manufacturing firm Honor officially announced its first foldable flagship mobile phone tagged Honor Magic V a few days back; the phone is likely to debut in the first quarter of 2022; it is expected that the Honor Magic V will be powered by Qualcomm latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
It seems the Chinese-based mobile maker Honor has delved into the floor of confidence. On the day of the announcement, the CEO of Honor Terminal said that Honor MagicV would undoubtedly be the excellent work of folding screen mobile phones in 2022; given the statement, on December 27, today Honor mobile released an official video of Honor MagicV on Weibo account.
The video had some victorious keywords such as “opening, stretching,” “coincidence, classic,” “light and thin,” and “majestic” it appears to be an incontrovertible triumphant alert from Honor as long as they believe what they were doing to positioning the new foldable phone in the marketplace.
Besides, the video also unveiled a few necessary details on the device. We could have seen what precisely foldable projects to the users with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series. Also, it has already been in a tradition to carry out a similar framework for the rest of the phones; meanwhile, Honor is attempting to focus on a large-screen experience to the users with a left-to-right folding design. Because of its large screen, users could hold a tablet-like smartphone after unfolding it to enter the virtual world, and the adaptation of the system and App will be perfect.
Honor CEO Zhang Ming mentioned that Honor Magic V uses complex hinge technology. The design is complete in screen conversion between large and small screens and the experience after opening. Zhao Ming also mentioned that some folding phone manufacturers make foldable phones lighter or even smaller in size, which breaches the original intention of folding screens because foldable phones are most attractive in the large screen when opened. Eventually, Zhao Ming also highlighted:
“Honor Magic V can surpass all the folding screen models that have been sold on the market.”
