In an event in Gurgaon hosted by Honor India today, the company debuted its 2019 first flagship smartphone Honor View 20, in the market. Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launched the world’s first punch-hole display phone along with a smartwatch called the Honor Watch Magic.
Honor View 20
Not just in India, the Honor View 20 is the world’s first smartphone that launches with a Hole-Punch display. It was first launched in China in December last year. This 4.5mm hole is displayed in the top left corner of the screen. Also, the distinctive feature of the smartphone is the 48-megapixel rear camera and a 3D camera.
Honor View 20 comes in two variants. Its 6GB RAM variant has been priced at Rs. 37,999 and the 8 GB RAM variant for Rs. 45,999. The price can be estimated from the OnePlus 6T, which will be its direct combat. Honor View 20 will be made online at Amazon India and offline stores on online shopping websites.
It has a 48-megapixel rear camera, in which Sony’s IMX586 CMOS sensor has been used. Also, the phone has a 3D camera. This 3D camera can detect the depth of the object. The phone has a 25-megapixel AI front camera for a selfie. Honor 2020, which works on Android 9 Pie, has a larger battery capacity of 4,000mAh, which makes a splash of fast charging. The three color variants will be available in Phantom Blue, Midnight Black, and Safaiar Blue.
Honor Watch Magic
The smartwatch, which was initially introduced back in November is a 9.8-mm thin smartwatch that features a touch screen Retina AMOLED display, dual-chipset low-energy consumption system, and three-satellite positioning for multiple sports modes.
The smartwatch also features TruSeen 3.0 smarter heart-rate monitor and Trusleep 2.0 sleep quality smart tracking. Regarding the software, it is powered by Huawei’s custom smartwatch OS, enabling users to track indoor and outdoor activities like running, mountain climbing, cycling, and even swimming.

The Honor Watch Magic is packed with a 178mAh battery that can last up to seven days on a single charge. The Lava Black color option of the watch has been priced at Rs 13,999, while the Midnight Silver option of the device has been priced at Rs 14,999. It can be paired with Android and an iOS phones through the companion app. It will be exclusively available on Amazon.
