As mobile brands continue to unveil new smartphones every week since the inception of the year. It seems Honor doesn’t want to be left alone. The brand is reportedly preparing to launch a new X series smartphone named Honor X50. Honor X50 Render alongside new specifications details shows that the new X series smartphone will succeed the Honor X40.
According to leaked renders and specifications shared by a reliable tipster, the new smartphone will feature a circular camera system on the back, similar to the last year’s Honor X40. However, the device is expected to come with a notable change on the front panel: a flat screen instead of the curved-edge display found on the predecessor.
Despite not being an official press render, the leaked render still gives us a good idea of what the upcoming phone may look like. By introducing a fresh design language for the X series, Honor seems to be attempting to spice things up a little. Although there are some optimizations it’s still quite identical to the Honor X40. However, the render hints towards a change on the front panel.
Honor X50 Render Reveals Expected Specs
Since the new Honor X50 is said to be identical to the existing Honor X40, we expect a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1920Hz PWM dimming on the device. As we know, the Octa-Core Snapdragon 695 8nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 619L GPU powered the Honor X40, therefore, the new device may also come with the same processors.
Unlike the Honor X40 which comes with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, we expect the Honor X50 to feature an upgraded storage capacity. At the same time, the phone might run on Android 13 or be bout to release on Android 14 with MagicOS 7 upgraded therein. For the optical, we expect a 50MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP sensor, as well as an 8MP front-facing camera.
To enhance’s experience, we hope for a huge battery of about 5100mAh with 40W fast charging. Although there is no official announcement regarding the Honor X50’s release date, rumors indicate that it may happen soon. We can’t wait to see what Honor has in store for us next as we wait for more details to emerge. Thus, stay connected with TechGenyz for more updates.
