The Horizon Edition of the Xiaomi Mi TV will be launched on the 7th of September in India. It will be a premium offer from Mi’s brand of Televisions. It will possibly come with a Patchwall feature, Android TV configuration, and a host of other features according to the teaser released by Xiaomi India.
This could possibly be a pre-festivity offering from the Xiaomi in India. The display will be premium and according to the teaser will be a “quintessential display tech” and thus could be a QLED or OLED TV. The Patchwall Launcher on the Xiaomi Mi Horizon Edition TV will make over 5,000 apps accessible to the users.
As already mentioned, it will run on Android TV and the Android TV platform and Google Play Store can be accessed from here easily. Xiaomi has also found a way to turn the TV on from the standby mode and thus the old problems with Xiaomi TVs of waking up late can be solved easily. The TVs previously took around 45 seconds to fully reboot from when it was switched on.
The Xiaomi Mi Notebook 14 is the inspiration behind the ‘Horizon Edition‘ which was first seen with these laptops and they featured a high screen-to-body ratio and thin bezels. The TVs with the same branding and edition could also be seen with similar features as suggested.
