This week, HP announced two new devices, EliteBook 700 Series and ProBook 645 G4, powered by Windows 10, designed to “work on-the-go.” Both the announced devices will come with Windows 10.
The HP EliteBook 700 is targeted at the businessperson and is powered by the AMD Ryzen PRO processors, which offer powerful security, manageability, and collaboration features. It comes in three models with 13.3, 14, and 15.6-inch screens with a variety of optional extras such as a privacy shutter for the webcam and an ambient light sensor and has integrated AMD Radeon Vega graphics and 4G LTE wireless connectivity.
The EliteBook 700 series notebooks have an HD camera and an HD infrared webcam, so you can log in safely and easily with Windows Hello. You can pin your favorite websites to the taskbar, preview your tabs, or set them aside with Microsoft Edge. It also arrives with new ways to talk and share faster with the people you talk to the most and options to add 3D objects to your PowerPoint presentations or Word and Excel documents.
The HP ProBook 600 line of notebooks is geared more towards professional designers and enterprise users. The HP ProBook 645 is a laptop designed to pass military standard testing. It delivers efficient, powerful performance and enterprise-grade security with flexible configuration options. The device will have up to 8th Gen quad-core Intel Core processor 3 powering the ProBook 640 and 650 models and an AMD Ryzen PRO processor inside the ProBook 645. It has OneDrive Files On-Demand, so you can access all your files in OneDrive without downloading them and using storage space.
The HP ProBook 645 G4 will start at $759, and HP Elitebook 700 series will start at $999, both being available in May.
