HP has improved its convertible 13-inch Spectre x360 laptop, with new quad-core processors and one USB-C port embedded into its two diagonally cut corners. The 2-in-1 hybrid laptop and tablet have a near-borderless design with a 90% screen-to-body ratio and intuitive security features.
Consumers increasingly want a single device for their work and personal tasks, with premium laptop buyers spending nearly half of their PC time outside of the home. The top bezel of the device is 5.8mm thick which is seemingly too thin to fit a webcam. But HP has designed the world’s smallest Windows Hello-enabled IR webcam for the edge that will provide the video of the webcam seamlessly.

The laptop has an optional 400-nit display, HP’s first 4K OLED 13-inch diagonal display with True Black HDR for a 100,000:1 high-contrast ratio 9 and boasts perfect blacks, anti-reflection display for outdoor viewing, and factory color calibration for a 30% wider color range.
HP Spectre x360 13 has a Full HD LED screen, an Intel Core i5-1035G1 processor, 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and a 256GB SATA SSD. The high-end model designed with an OLED screen features the Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor and 16GB of RAM. The HP Spectre x360 13 is expected to be available in October via HP.com, with a starting price of $1,100.
