Soon after the launch of two mid-range smartphones; HTC Desire 12+ and HTC Desire 12 the company now comes up with another flagship that fits precisely between these two mobiles. HTC has announced a new addition to its mid-range Desire series of smartphones; the HTC Desire 12s.
The device unveils its upgrade in the forms of a slightly bumped display size, increased battery capacity as well as an upgrade in the front-facing selfie camera. Unlike the HTC Desire 12, the Desire 12s flaunts a 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display and has ditched the MediaTek SoC for a Snapdragon 435. The smartphone will be available with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, expandable using external microSD.
To talk about the camera, it will feature a 13MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and support for 1080p video recording. The front facing camera is a 13MP sensor as well with f/2.4 aperture, and both cameras are coupled with LED flashes.
This design bears some glossy texture with the HTC Sense UI on the top which supports a 4G VoLTE connectivity along with Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, A-GPS and other sensors that are required for the automation of the handset.
It will be available in three variants: Red, Black and Silver colors for asking prices of NT$5990 approx. Rs 13,900 and NT$6990 approx. Rs 16,200 for the 3GB and 4GB RAM versions respectively.
