HTC Desire 19+ is the new mid-range smartphone that breaks a silence of the Taiwanese company for several months that also presented another device called HTC U19e. This is the first HTC device with a teardrop and triple camera design on the back. Starting with the aesthetic section, the HTC Desire 19+ comes in “Star Can Blue” (Blue) and “Jasmine White” (White) colors. In the case of the first, the company has introduced a pattern of points on the edges with a gradient finish, while in the white color, golden frames have been implemented around the device.
In the back, we find the fingerprint reader-centered at the vertical axis on the device and, in the upper left corner, the triple camera setup in vertical format and the LED flash. In the white model, the third lens has golden edge trails around it.
The front of the device has one of the largest screens in the history of HTC. Since, it features a 6.2-inch IPS / LCD panel with HD+ resolution (1,520 x 720 pixels), aspect ratio 19: 9 and notch in the form of a drop.
The HTC Desire 19+ is the first smartphone of the company to mount a triple-lens camera setup. It has a configuration of 13 + 8 + 5 megapixels f / 1.85 whose functions are a normal angle lens, 120º wide-angle and ToF sensor for depth. The selfies will go hand in hand with a 13-megapixel sensor.
The HTC Desire 19+ comes in two versions of RAM and internal storage on which the price will depend. Specifically, the most economical model has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The most advanced model has up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM. In both cases, it can be extended with microSD cards.
RAM and ROM aside, the HTC Desire 19+ incorporates the MediaTek Helio P35 processor, a 12-nanometer SoC introduced last December. This has eight Cortex A53 cores at a maximum speed of 2.3 GHz and the PowerVR GE8320 GPU at 680 MHz.
For the battery, 3,850 mAh that will be responsible for bringing to life Android 9 Foot makeup with the HTC Sense customization layer. In terms of connectivity, the device has NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi dual-band AC and LTE category 6.
At the moment, HTC Desire 19+ seems to stay in Taiwan. It will go on sale at the beginning of July at a price for 9,990 Taiwanese dollars for the 4/64 GB model and 10,990 Taiwanese dollars for the 6/128 GB.
