HTC seems to be heading to launch a number of smartphones this year. It started the year with the launch of the upper-midrange HTC U11 Eyes. Then it released a mid-range HTC phone powered by Snapdragon 625, a few days back. This time it is a smartphone codenamed HTC Breeze, the news has been leaked online by Evan Blass.
According to noted tipster @evleaks “HTC’s got an upcoming 5.5 phone, Breeze (second time as HTC codename), that’s mostly notable for pushing full screen, 18:9 aspect ratio down to entry-level. Therefore specs are nothing special (MediaTek SoC, 2/16GB, 13/5MP, 2730mAh, etc), and it should be priced to reflect that.” The leaked HTC Breeze is to be powered by an unnamed MediaTech processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It is also specified with a 5.5-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
The phone is also described to have a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It also has a 2730 mAh non-removable battery. Though the version of the Android is not mentioned, it can be expected to be Android 8.0 Oreo.
Information regarding the design and the name is not yet mentioned. It will not be a surprise for the consumers if it features the same double glass design and a “U” name like the previous sets. Though the price is not yet confirmed, we hope that the price of the phone matches with its specs as well.
