On Tuesday, Huawei launched the Enjoy 9 Plus and Enjoy Max smartphones in China. Looking at the specifications of both the devices, the devices come with large displays, large batteries, and mid-range processors to power the device.
The Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus has a wide notch and dual front cameras; the Huawei Enjoy Max has a waterdrop-shaped notch and a single selfie camera. Whereas the Enjoy Max sports a dual camera setup, a rear fingerprint scanner, and Snapdragon processors.
Regarding specs, the Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus will come with a 6.5-inch LCD screen. It measures 162.4 x 77.1 x 8.05mm. The Huawei Enjoy Max runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based on EMUI 8.2 skin on top and packs a dual-SIM slot (Nano + Nano). It features a 7.12-inch (1080×2244 pixels) full-HD+ display with 2.5D curved glass protection. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 660 AIE octa-core processor paired with Adreno 512 GPU and 4GB of RAM. Internal storage options are at 64GB and 128GB, with a dedicated microSD card slot for further expansion (up to 256GB).
It is packed with a 4,000mAh battery that claims to offer 65 hours of audio playback, 9 hours of gaming, and 14 hours of 4G browsing. Expandable storage up to 400GB is supported on the Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus with the help of the dedicated microSD card slot. Optics includes one 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.8 aperture and another 2-megapixel sensor.
For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor as well. A fingerprint scanner is available on the rear. It comes with connectivity features like dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB, and GPS.
The Enjoy Max is fueled by a Snapdragon 660 chipset paired with Adreno 512 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It is packed with a massive battery of 5,000mAh capacity, loaded with EMUI 8.2 based Android 8.1 Oreo OS, and it features a microSD card slot for more storage.
It is fitted with a behemoth IPS LCD display of 7.12 inches. The waterdrop notch on display produces a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels. The handset weighs 210 grams and measures 177.57 x 86.24 x 8.48mm. In terms of the camera at the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. Camera features include large aperture blur, gesture self-timer, fun AR mode, continuous shooting, voice control, face recognition, and smile capture.
Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus models 64 GB storage + 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage + 4 GB RAM, respectively tagged with 1,499 Yuan and 1,699 Yuan. The pre-sales of the smartphone have started today. At the same time, the Enjoy Max color variants include Magic Night Black, Sky White, and Amber Brown with 64 GB and 128 GB, which are respectively priced tagged with 1,699 Yuan and 1,999 Yuan.
