Huawei launched a brand new smartphone in India, Honor 5X, in the last week of January. The Honor 5X, which is aimed at developing markets like India, is exclusively available for online purchase on Amazon and Flipkart, priced at Rs 12,999.

Honor 5x comes with the premium metal body construction along with plastic frames – the device looks more like plastic than metal. The 5.5-inch phablet looks shining and weighs less than some similarly sized smartphones available on the market.

The front part of the device has a 2.0 fingerprint scanner with advanced technology that learns the intricacies of your fingerprint, making it increasingly secure. On the other hand, a back panel is housed with a non-removable battery, a 13 MP rear camera, and an LED flash. The in-built second-generation, rim-free touch sensor offers superior performance and great accuracy every time a user uses the mobile.

The edges of the device are rounded as we see it in the maximum devices these days. The sides of Honor 5x are housed dual SIM card slots, the volume rocker, and on the bottom, it has power buttons, a speaker, and a micro USB slot, while the 3.5mm port for the jack is on the top of the device.

The Honor 5x flaunts a robust metallic body, and in 5.5-inch IPS Display that supports Multi Touch-sensitive Screen gives you a better image and video quality. Honor 5x is equipped with a 13 MP primary camera that features SmartImage 3.0 image processor – you can capture high-quality images even in low light. The smartphone is powered by a Ly-Polimar 3000 mAh battery that gives you 27 hrs of talk time on a 2G network and 26 hrs on a 3G network, and a standby time of 740 hrs in 3G.
