Huawei Honor View 10 gets the Team Win Recovery Project support by Team Win, having a disclaimer that the developer will not be responsible for damage to the device in installing or using the software.
Team Win further provided related details for the convenience of the users. It says that data can’t be decrypted in the open-source software for the time being. MTP does not work, although users can use ADB to push and pull files.
TWRP for the said Huawei device is available to download from Play Store, and the installation requires root. After the installation and agree to the terms, it is needed to select TWRP Flash. Then, the device can be selected from the given list, and a version can be chosen. The file will be downloaded to the Downloads folder of the user. Team Win asks users to browse the folder to select the file and to tap on ‘Flash to Recovery.’
The developer team as well provided the link to download the latest version of TWRP in case you don’t have the Play Store. Mirror links for the Americas and Europe are as well given. As for the fast boot install method, there is no root required; confirm with the developers. However, there are specific requirements to maintain for Android and Windows users that are illustrated in detail.
