It was expected that the Chinese tech giant Huawei would launch a range of products in December 2021 and will also introduce a range of devices to kick start the first quarter of 2022. The products that were expected to launch in December include blood pressure watches, ink screen products, and Bluetooth glasses.
Although there is no news of confirmation of the launch of the blood pressure watch launch and Bluetooth glasses, the official website of the China Quality Certification Center revealed that the company will soon launch a new device that carries the model number HMW-W09. The said device from Huawei has also passed the 3C certification very recently.
It is interesting to note that a digital blogger from China revealed that Huawei is going to launch an ink-screen tablet calledMatePad Paper. Moreover, the blogger also revealed that the tablet will be running on Huawei’s HarmoyOS operating system. In November 2021, the company held an offline experience event for offline eReaders which essentially are ink screens.
Experts generally contend that ever since electronic ink screens came into existence, the main reason why this application was being widely used is that users mainly used the screens for their electronic paper book reading. The ink screen is not displayed by refreshing the screen, and the LCD screen flickers constantly, thereby, it hurts the eyes.
The electronic ink screen will bring a display effect that largely mimics paper materials; this means that the users need not worry about glare, stroboscopic while also ensuring that this provides more eye protection, especially when the device is used on a daily basis. The ink tablets also come with the added advantage of saving power which makes the device suitable for long-term use in the office.
The HarmonyOS based Huawei ink screen tablet will make it easier for its users to transfer text files, PDF textbooks, and note synchronization.
