Being a global provider of information and communication technology, Huawei never fails to impress us. Today Huawei officially released its first flagship 5G SoC chip Kirin 990 along with its first Bluetooth chip Kirin A1 and a new Bluetooth headset Freebuds 3.
Kirin 990 is a single chip which is integrated with 2G/ 3G/ 4G/ 5G network, making it worthy of use. In addition to that, the chip is also smaller in size and consumes less power.
Huawei also released its first Bluetooth chip Kirin A1. This is the world’s first certified Bluetooth 5.1 wireless chip. It comes with excellent anti-jamming capabilities along with high-performance dual-channel Bluetooth connection. As a result of this, it can reduce the delay by 30% and reproduce nondestructive HD sound quality.
Kirin A1’s internal components include a bunch of improved technology, e. g. AP, RAM, Bluetooth, DSP, sensor matrix, power management module, etc. An official report shows that the chip is based on the patented Bluetooth UHD transmission protocol and can also achieve a rate of 6.5 Gbps.
Huawei indeed plans to use Kirin A1 chip in its real wireless earbuds, wireless headsets, neck mounted wireless headsets, smart glasses, smartwatches, and few other products in the future.
The most noteworthy announcement made by Huawei at IFA 2019 is that it is going to release the world’s first true wireless headset with open design and active noise reduction featuring the Kirin A1 chip.
The headset comes with 14.2 mm of dynamic drivers and has a 30 mAh battery that can last up to 4 long hours on a single charge. The headset offers active and ambient noise cancellation up to 15 dB for different types of the ear canal. It also has a 356 MHz audio processor for stable and fast Bluetooth connection
It uses Huawei Isochronous Dual Channel transmission technology for low latency and offers 14 mm high sensitivity moving coil unit and bass tube design. Its delaying capacity is as low as 190 nm, lower than Airpods 2, giving you better gaming experience. It can be controlled with a double-tap and can be connected to the devices running EMU110 or above.
Huawei FreeBuds 3 comes in two color variants- Carbon black and Ceramic White. Its price is not decided yet, but according to the reports, it will be cheaper than the Airpods.
