At the MWC 2018, Huawei introduced its two new tablets from the M series, the MediaPad M5 and M5 Pro. Later Huawei also introduced a cost-effective version of the premium M series tablets, the MediaPad M5 Lite.
Here are some key specifications of the Huawei MediaPad M5, M5 Pro and M5 Lite. The MediaPad M5 and M5 Pro feature an 8.4-inch and a 10.8-inch screen, respectively. Both of the MediaPads use a USB Type-C charger and offers internal storage space up to 256 GB.
Both the tablets come with Harman Kardon-branded Harman Kardon Tuning which offers excellent, fuller sound quality. The MediaPad M5 runs on Kirin 960 CPU and offers 4GB of RAM. On the other hand, the MediaPad M5 Pro runs on a Kirin 960s CPU with 4GB of RAM.
Additionally, the M5Pro offers Huawei’s M-Pen stylus. This Huawei M-Pen packed with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity for good input experience. In terms of camera, both the M5 and the M5 Pro comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera.
The M5 Lite comes between these two M5 tablets. It features a 10.1-inch display screen and runs on the Kirin 659 chipset. The tablet comes with an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a screen resolution of 1910×1200 pixels.
It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and comes in two variants, one with 3GB RAM 32 GB of memory storage, and the other one with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of memory storage.
It has a fingerprint sensor mounted on its front side. The M5 Lite features a 7500mAh battery with fast charging capacity. Both the front and the back cameras are of 8 MP. The M5 Lite also features the M-Pen, and this tablet is priced at around 200 EUR.
