Huawei announced yesterday that its Mate 10 Pro would be officially launched in the U.S. It will have competition against the likes of the iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy Note 8, and LG V30.

There were rumors of Huawei partnering with AT&T for the release of the Mate 10 Pro in the American markets, but that is not happening for now. The smartphone will be available compatible with GSM carriers like AT&T, Cricket, MetroPCS, T-Mobile, Tracphone, and Simple Mobile.

The Huawei Mate 10 Pro starts getting sold on February 18 via Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, Microsoft, and B&H. You can pre-order starting February 4.

As for features, the Huawei premium phone has a 6-inch OLED display and is water-resistant, with a glass-and-metal body. The front panel provides a FullView display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and minimal bezel existence. A dual camera setup and a fingerprint scanner at the rear panel complete the package. It is also known to be quite good in handling due to its metal finish.

Other features so far unveiled include the phone having an IP67 rating for not just water resistance, but also dust resistance, and it is the first phone in the lineup to enjoy the same. Furthermore, the smoothly curved glass wrap around the Mate 10 Pro offers a shiny appearance under the light. The back panel bears the signature stripe of Huawei that isolates the camera setup significantly.

Impressive battery life and spectacular photography are two other highlights of the phone.
Now, alongside the Mate 10 Pro, Huawei will as well unveil a Mate 10 Porsche Design variant for American users. This variant will have 256GB of internal memory, and that’s something! It is otherwise almost identical to the Mate 10 Pro.

You will get the Mate 10 Pro for $799, and its Porsche Design model is priced at $1,225.
