Huawei Mate 10 has already generated enormous curiosity among the viewers ahead of its official release date of October 16. Now multiple leaked screenshots of one of the most awaited phones of the year show that the flagship smartphone to get a whole lot of new hardware including a new AI-capable Kirin 970 processor.
If the speculations are to be taken into consideration, Huawei Mate 10 to get the new EMUI 6 interface based on Android 8.0 Oreo. These pre-release sneak peeks have turned out to be a real game changer.
These leaked images courtesy of XDA developer are said to belong to a Huawei Mate 9 running on Oreo-based Android firmware. Some of them give a hint of picture-in-picture mode in EMUI 6, some hint of a background app notification very much alike Android Oreo.
However, a new screen resolution option in the display settings of EMUI 6 enabling users to switch in-between 720p and 1080p resolution modes which can serve the power conservation mechanism as well. A new button is also seen on the left side of the navigation bar which with a swipe from the bottom lets the user hide or unhide the navigation bar.
Basically, EMUI 6 interface of Huawei Mate 10 is a modification of Android Oreo, which is quite well known to us since Google has already announced it. But these screenshots have created enough fuzz for the users to be excited enough throughout these last 9 days before its launch.
