The Chinese tech giant Huawei announced the launch of MediaPad T5 in India. Huawei has today entered the Tablets market in India with the launch of Huawei MediaPad T5. This is Huawei’s only Tablet in the Indian market, but its sub-brand Honor is selling the MediaPad T3 in India.
According to the company, the new Tablet is packed with features that include an octa-core processor, dual speakers, 10.1-inch screen, and dated Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. The company’s official website claim, MediaPad T5 tablet is the only tablet that the company is offering right now in the country.
The Huawei MediaPad T5 features a 10.1-inch 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Tablet is powered by octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 SoC with 2GB and 3GB RAM. It comes with 16GB and 32GB storage variants with expandable memory up to 256GB.
For the camera, the Tablet sports a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel fixed-focus front snapper with an f/2.4 lens. The Huawei MediaPad T5 runs on Android 8.0 with the company’s EMUI 8.0 on top and is fueled by 5100mAh battery. The Tablet measures 243x164x7.8mm, and it weighs 460 grams.
Huawei MediaPad T5 price in India has been tagged at Rs. 14,990 for the base variant with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The 3GB + 32GB variant of the tablet is priced at Rs. 16,990. The new Tablet will be available starting July 10 in the country.
