The Chinese tech giant Huawei Enterprise introduced a set of three smart screens and named the series Smart Screen IdeaHub in April this year. The series features three smart screens: the white models IdeaHub S and IdeaHub Pro and titanium-gold IdeaHub Enterprise.
The new series of smart screens are mainly office-oriented and is designed for modern professional settings in which the monitors could easily blend in, and give the office a business-like aura. Two months after the series of smart screens were introduced, on June 8, the Huawei IdeaHub S model has finally gone on sale.
Huawei smart screens from this series are available in three versions: wall-mounted screens with a diagonal of 65 and 86 inches. The model variations of 65-inches and the 86-inches are priced at $3,719 and $7777 respectively.
The floor-mounted screen with a diagonal 65-inches falls somewhere between the above mentioned two, in terms of pricing. The price for the floor-mounted smart screen is $4100.
The Huawei IdeaHub S smart screen comes equipped with ultra-low latency of 35 ms, and to make office work easier, it also comes with support for handwriting recognition. Moreover, the smart screens also support native WeLink conferences and H.265 1080p HD video decoding. There is also a camera featured on the screen that comes with a resolution of 1080p.
The manufacturing company is claiming that the smart screens are capable of combining smart recording, high-res screen, and video conferencing for offices which have proved itself to be indispensable especially in this pandemic environment.
Huawei smart monitors were created keeping corporate conference rooms, executive rooms, office rooms, and other business scenarios in mind.
The company was also quick to remind everyone that the Huawei IdeaHub is different than anything that the company has been associated with so far. The smart monitors are more than ordinary smart TVs, and best suited for the office environment.
