Developing on sub-brand Honor’s flagship devices, Honor 8X and Honor 8X Max, Huawei is all set to release its upcoming smartphones, Enjoy 9 Plus and Huawei Enjoy Max, with long-lasting batteries and superior camera quality. These smartphones will soon be available on China’s largest non-governmental retailing website, Suning.com starting from 15th October, which is just 4 days from now. We, at India, however, are still puzzled as to when Huawei will decide to release them in our country, but leaks have revealed that they’ll hit the market within this month. As of now, the Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus will cost 1,599 yuan (roughly Rs17,190), while Enjoy Max will cost 1,799 yuan (Rs 19,340 approximately).
The Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus sports a gorgeous 6.5-inch IPS LCD FullView display with FullHD+ at a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The smartphone’s design comes with a waterdrop notch and has a higher screen-to-body ratio than its predecessor. Its partner, Enjoy Max, like Honor 8X Max, on which it is based, will boast a 7.12-inch IPS LCD display with a FullHD+ resolution of 2244×1080 pixels. What’s the best feature of Enjoy Max, you ask? Undoubtedly, the elephantine battery of 4,900 mAh it carries should be the answer. Enjoy Plus also features a fingerprint sensor and for its OS depends on the currently trusted Android Oreo 8.1.
Both the phones to be released have a dual camera set-up at the rear end, a combination of 16MP and 2MP. The Enjoy 9 Plus, however, also sports a dual camera in the front, a combination of 13MP and 2MP, while Huawei Enjoy Max boasts a single lens front camera of 8MP for selfies and video calling.
Let’s wait and see how the phones meet the expectations of the Chinese market.
