Huawei had unveiled its Mate 30 Pro 5G smartphone back in September 2019, and a new smartphone from Huawei recently surfaced on the certification website TENAA. The device carries the name “MIO-AN00m” on the website.
The LIO-AN00m shares some similarities with Mate 30 Pro 5G, but it would be wrong to assume that Huawei would not add a few new specs to it. The new 5G smartphone has the same measurements of 158.1x 73.1 x 8.8- 9.5 mm and has an approx weight of 198 grams. The handset features a 6.53-inch OLED screen with 2400 x 1776 pixels resolution.
Under the hood, Huawei LIO-AN00m runs on an octa-core (2.86GHz A76 x 2 + 2.36GHz A76 x 2 + 1.95GHz A55 x 4) Kirin 990 5G SoC with 16-core Mali-G76 GPU. The smartphone runs on a 4400mAh battery and supports fast charging at 40W. Certain specs might make it look like the old Mate 30 Pro 5G, but in essence, it is not.
TENAA has confirmed that Huawei LIO-AN00m model will come in 6GB / 8GB / 12GB of RAM options, and in 128GB / 256GB / 512GB storage variants. It also supports further expansion up to 256GB using the NM card. TENAA listed a total of seven cameras in this particular model. The site confirms that the smartphone will feature a 32MP selfie camera with a 3D sensing camera. As for the main cameras on the back of the mobile, nothing has yet been mentioned.
