Last month Google announced that YouTube Music, YouTube Music Premium, and YouTube Premium have all launched in India. And within a month of their launch, premium subscribers have started taking to the platforms like Reddit and Twitter, complaining about the issues that they are facing.
YouTube is one of the most visited sites on the internet and seemingly everybody’s favorite way to learn new information and kill time by shuffling through various videos. However, some users have been reporting errors regarding the YouTube premium features.
It seems that there has been some bug issue that’s breaking premium access for subscribers. Subscribers say they see tons of ads and can’t access other features like watching a video in the background. Some subscribers have also looked to it, saying this is another April fool prank. But this is not.
Thankfully, YouTube is well aware of the issue and has also taken to its pages and social media platforms to respond to the complaints. YouTube is working and since has come up with specific instant remedies until they can resolve the issue entirely. YouTube says that disconnecting Bluetooth and/or wired headphones and then restarting the app might fix the problem.
According to the recent updates, YouTube claims to have successfully fix the issue. To get the bug fixed in your app, just quit and relaunch the app. It’s good to know that the app has taken to the complaints and fixed it ASAP.
